Brief Description: Tasty, good quality seafood is in abundance at Rodney’s Oyster House in Yaletown. Combined with good looking (male) servers and a relaxing environment, Rodney’s is a great place to sit back and enjoy.

I was so impressed by my recent trip to Rodney’s that I have been back another two times since writing my last Rodney’s post. The photos from this visit were taken at “Low Tide”, Rodney’s equivalent of happy hour where the food is quite heavily discounted. It runs Mondays through Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm. Oysters are only $1.50 a pop and the cooked dishes are considerably cheaper. From memory, I believe that the Scallop Galette was $10.95 (normally about $15.00) and I think the Pan Fried Oysters were a similar price. Quite easily, the Scallop Galette is still my favourite dish. There is just nothing that compares to the crunchiness of the potato coating, followed by the tenderness of the scallops. Seafood lovers – get your butts to Rodney’s. The food is fantastic.

mmm mmm! I’ve been really interested in trying Rodney’s Oyster House, but due to a cash flow crunch, I’ve been putting it off. It is good to know that they have late afternoon deals! THANKS!
